The Barn Nature Center

The Barn Nature Center is a non-profit educational animal sanctuary for rescued and re-homed exotic pets. Our interactive animal exhibits feature over 80 diverse species from around the world. Our mission is to provide environmental education to the public using a variety of wonderful animals, as well as to teach youth animal care and community service. The Barn Nature Center offers fun and educational parties, tours, camps, workshops, scout programs, and outreach presentations to engage the community in experiential animal education and conservation.  We offer kids, parents, and people of all ages the opportunity to touch, hold, feed, and meet amazing exotic animals from around the world. Groups visiting the Nature Center also have the option to explore their adventurous sides by climbing our large indoor rock-climbing wall, participating in exciting team building activities, or even enjoying a guided kayaking excursion on beautiful Lake Nockamixon.
